ALABAMA VINYL & PRINT CO.
TERMS, ORDER & ARTWORK POLICY
Last Updated: August 2026
This website is operated by Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. Throughout this policy, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Alabama Vinyl & Print Co.
By accessing our website, submitting artwork, placing an order, approving a proof, or purchasing products or services from us, you agree to the terms and policies below.
Please review your order and artwork carefully before completing your purchase.
1. ORDER ACCEPTANCE
We reserve the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or refund any order at our discretion.
This may include, but is not limited to:
-
Orders containing prohibited or potentially infringing artwork
-
Orders we are unable to produce safely or accurately
-
Pricing or listing errors
-
Product availability issues
-
Suspected fraudulent transactions
-
Orders that violate these Terms
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, any applicable refund will be issued according to the circumstances of the order.
2. CUSTOMER ARTWORK RIGHTS & AUTHORIZATION
By uploading, submitting, emailing, or otherwise providing artwork to Alabama Vinyl & Print Co., you represent that you:
-
Own the artwork; or
-
Have received permission from the copyright or trademark owner; or
-
Have the appropriate license or legal authorization to reproduce the artwork.
You are responsible for ensuring that submitted artwork does not violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, privacy right, or other intellectual property right.
By submitting artwork, you authorize Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. to reproduce that artwork as necessary to complete your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order containing artwork that we reasonably believe may violate the rights of another person, business, organization, or intellectual property owner.
The customer assumes responsibility for claims resulting from artwork supplied or authorized by the customer.
3. PRINT-READY ARTWORK
Unless you have purchased artwork or design services from us, customers are responsible for providing print-ready artwork.
We do not guarantee that every customer-supplied file will be inspected or corrected before production.
Before submitting your order, please verify:
-
Artwork dimensions
-
Resolution
-
Spelling
-
Names and numbers
-
Design orientation
-
Background transparency
-
Colors
-
Image quality
-
Overall layout
Your order may be produced exactly from the file you submit.
4. ARTWORK SIZE
Artwork should be submitted or selected at the actual size you want it printed.
For example, if you want your design to print 11 inches wide, your artwork or selected print size should indicate 11 inches wide.
Do not assume that Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. will automatically resize artwork to fit a garment or product.
It is the customer's responsibility to verify the requested dimensions before completing the order.
5. IMAGE RESOLUTION & QUALITY
For best results, artwork should be supplied at approximately 300 DPI at the actual intended print size.
Artwork that is:
-
Low resolution
-
Pixelated
-
Blurry
-
Compressed
-
Improperly enlarged
-
Poorly traced
may produce a lower-quality finished print.
Changing a low-resolution file to “300 DPI” does not automatically improve the quality of the original image.
If poor-quality artwork is submitted and printed as provided, the resulting print quality is not considered a production defect.
6. TRANSPARENT BACKGROUNDS
Artwork intended for DTF printing should have a transparent background unless the background is intentionally part of the design.
White boxes, colored backgrounds, stray pixels, shadows, or other visible elements contained in the submitted file may print.
Please inspect your artwork carefully before submitting it.
7. DO NOT MIRROR ARTWORK
Customers should submit artwork in its normal viewing orientation.
Do not mirror your artwork unless specifically instructed by Alabama Vinyl & Print Co.
We will handle any production-related mirroring required by our printing process.
Artwork intentionally submitted in a mirrored orientation may result in a mirrored finished product.
8. PROOFS & ARTWORK APPROVAL
When a proof is provided, it is the customer's responsibility to review it carefully before approval.
Please verify:
-
Spelling
-
Names
-
Dates
-
Phone numbers
-
Artwork
-
Placement
-
Dimensions
-
Colors
-
Quantities
-
Product selections
Once a proof has been approved, Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. may begin production.
We are not responsible for customer-approved errors that were visible in the approved proof.
Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges or production delays.
9. COLOR VARIATIONS
Colors displayed on phones, tablets, monitors, and other screens may differ from the finished printed product.
Actual print colors may vary due to:
-
Screen calibration
-
Material color
-
Fabric composition
-
Printing process
-
Ink
-
Lighting
-
Artwork color profile
-
Product manufacturing variations
Reasonable color variations are considered normal and are not considered defects.
10. DTF PRINTING TURNAROUND
Standard DTF printing turnaround is typically 2–3 business days unless otherwise stated.
Turnaround time generally begins after we have received:
-
Your completed order
-
Payment
-
Print-ready artwork
-
Any required proof approval
Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
Turnaround times are estimates unless a specific completion date has been confirmed by us in writing.
11. RUSH ORDERS
Rush service may be available for an additional fee.
A rush order is not guaranteed unless:
-
Rush service is available,
-
The appropriate rush fee has been selected and paid, and
-
Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. has accepted the requested production timeline.
Shipping or carrier transit time is separate from our production turnaround time.
12. CUSTOM & PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS
Many of our products are custom-made, printed, decorated, or personalized specifically for each customer.
Once production begins, custom products generally cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded because of:
-
Customer-supplied artwork errors
-
Incorrect spelling supplied by the customer
-
Incorrect sizes ordered
-
Incorrect colors or products selected
-
Approved proof errors
-
Changes of mind
-
Incorrect artwork dimensions
-
Low-resolution artwork
-
Customer-submitted design issues
If Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. makes a verified production error, contact us so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
13. GARMENT SIZING
Garment sizes may vary between brands, styles, manufacturers, and product lines.
Customers are responsible for reviewing available sizing information before ordering.
Ordering the incorrect size or a garment not fitting as expected is not considered a production defect.
14. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED ITEMS
We may, at our discretion, agree to decorate garments, signs, materials, or other products supplied by the customer.
Printing, pressing, embroidery, vinyl application, and other decoration methods involve heat, pressure, machinery, inks, adhesives, and other production processes.
Customer-supplied items are provided at the customer's risk.
While we take reasonable care during production, Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. cannot guarantee the replacement value of customer-supplied merchandise if an item reacts unexpectedly to the decoration process, contains an existing defect, or is incompatible with the requested production method.
Customers should provide additional pieces when exact quantities are critical.
15. ORDER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
Once we have:
-
Ordered materials,
-
Ordered garments,
-
Prepared artwork,
-
Printed transfers,
-
Begun production, or
-
Otherwise incurred costs associated with your order,
the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation or a full refund.
Customers may be responsible for costs already incurred before the cancellation request.
16. ORDER ISSUES & CLAIMS
Please inspect your order promptly after receiving it.
If you believe we made a production error, contact us with:
-
Your order number
-
A description of the issue
-
Clear photographs showing the issue
We will review the order and determine whether the issue resulted from a production error.
Do not discard, alter, wash, apply, press, sell, or otherwise use products you believe are defective until we have had an opportunity to review the issue.
17. PRICING & PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, photographs, turnaround information, and availability.
However, errors or omissions may occasionally occur.
We reserve the right to:
-
Correct errors
-
Update information
-
Change prices
-
Change product availability
-
Discontinue products
-
Cancel affected orders
Prices may change without notice.
Product photographs are intended to represent the product as accurately as reasonably possible, but actual products may vary slightly.

This includes accurate:

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
